new beginnings

This week I've been staying with my wonderful friend, Ashley, to help take care of her newborn baby while her husband is out of town. It's been an educational week for me, I had no idea that the combination of eating, sleeping, and pooping could be that complicated. But I absolutely love love love baby Reece, she is so sweet. I also really can't express how much I love Ashley, she's such a special person to me, she's the one who shared the Gospel with me when I became a Christian, and she continued to disciple me throughout college. I treasure all of the time we've spent together, even though not all of it was fun or happy, she has loved me consistently for the last four years. Ashley was the first person to ever cast vision for me about church planting, which I will be doing beginning in July. While making the decision to move to Denver with Summit I was really tempted to just stay in Chapel Hill just so I wouldn't have to leave her, but she has selflessly supported and affirmed my calling to move to Denver and for that I am so thankful, even though I will miss her terribly. Love you so much, Bowe, Ashley, and Reece!
