Every year at Easter we do the same basic things:
1. Get a visit from the Easter bunny (aka Mom)
2. Eat Easter candy instead of breakfast
3. Put on snazzy new Easter outfits
4. Arrive late to Sunday School (somehow it always takes longer to get ready on Easter Sunday)
5. Enjoy church and fellowship at Locust Grove Baptist Church
6. Take Easter pictures (below)
7. Eat yummy Easter lunch
8. Save room for homemade cheesecake
9. Top it all off with more Easter candy
I realize that the theme here is eating (which is a big part of any holiday) but most importantly Easter is about reflecting on the death and resurrection of Jesus and worshipping him. I was thankful to not only get to spend time enjoying my family this weekend but also enjoying Jesus. Hopefully you all had an enjoyable Easter as well!

I think I look very awkward in the picture with you, Caitlyn and Sophie...I don't know what my problem was but this is just not flattering at all. I also think I look fat and old. Could you photoshop me out of this picture? Love, Mom
