While my family was in Denver for a few days after our cross-country drive, I tried to show them around the city and the area as much as I could. I decided to take them downtown one day and then do a little hiking around Red Rocks the next. While we were out at Red Rocks we decided to stop through Golden on our way back, however, the GPS decided to take us in the opposite direction and we wound up in Central City, which was this tiny town in the middle of nowhere (even smaller than Weaverville). We eventually made it to Golden and back to Denver thankfully. If you're going to get lost, you might as well end up somewhere interesting.
