A couple weeks ago we saw flyers for the Denver County Fair and were super excited to go. We were expecting North Carolina State Fair style with rides, lots of livestock, and tons of fried food (basically the whole point of going to the fair). Then we arrived and remembered that we're not in Kansas, er... North Carolina anymore. No fried food and much smaller amounts of rides and animals than were expected. We also neglected to remember that this was a county fair not a state fair which might have had something to do with it.
Yes, the fair included a Chocolate Crisis Center booth, complete with doctors and nurses

Looks pretty deserted at the fair Natalie. Were you and Shannon the only two people there? Everyone else knew how lame it was and stayed home maybe?? Love, Mom
